We all long for connection; to ourselves, to others, to our ideals. We long to belong, to find our place in the world, to value and give expression to our unique gifts, to live the life we're called to live. Perhaps the one thing that holds us back the most is low self-esteem or shame - a feeling of not being good enough. Through awareness and attention, through finding the courage to experience our vulnerability, and by cultivating kindness towards ourselves, we can loosen the 'not good enough' demon's grip and transform the stories that can overwhelm our minds and lives. With the sure and true footing that the breath brings, and with kindness, awareness and wisdom, we can move forward with renewed well-being, inspiration, purpose and confidence. We can find real connection, empowerment and belonging. We can come home to ourselves. |

Hi. I’m Mahasukha. I offer 1:1 Embodied Voice sessions in a safe and supportive space. I take an intuitive, holistic and somatic (body-based) approach. Our body is the container for our voice, and our voice, our sound, floats on the breath out into the world. So, in these Embodied Voice sessions, I will guide you through simple somatic, breathing and vocal exercises to help free up any blocked or restricted energy, to free your voice and enable you to express it more fully and confidently in your unique and authentic way. I may teach you a song or mantra or you’re welcome to bring something that you’d like to give voice to. I will help you improve your posture, vocal tone, pitch, strength, power and musicality - all which will help develop your confidence. |

"The seer, the poet and singer, the spiritually creative, the psychically receptive and sensitive,
the saint: they all know about the essentiality of form in word and sound in the visible and the tangible. Through them the word becomes mantra and the sounds and signs of which it is formed become the vehicles of mysterious forces. Through them the visible takes on the nature of symbols, the tangible becomes the creative tool of the spirit, and life becomes a deep stream, flowing from eternity to eternity." |

"And breathe..." The breath will always be the touchstone. The mantra I say the most is, "keep breathing!" The breath is our best friend, always with us, always reliable, ever faithful. The breath grounds us, gets us out of our heads and back into our bodies and our present experience, bringing peace, calm and tranquility. Take a deep breath right now and feel the positive effect. |
