“Let the beauty we love be what we do.
There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground.” ~ Rumi |

How it Works
Mahasukha teaches accessible and easy to learn songs, chants and mantras from around the world in part harmony, taught by ear. After a warm-up, a typical workshop starts with an upbeat, energetic African song with Mahasukha ripping it up on the djembe (which adds another incredibly uplifting dimension!).
Then we might sing a hypnotising indigenous chant, then maybe a Spiritual from the American Deep South, and a sublime mantra. Everyone participates, everyone has a voice, and in no time at all, a wonderful sound, incredible energy and a magical atmosphere is created, leaving everyone feeling uplifted and transformed!
As well as an inspiring and liberating experience, you get connected! With Soulful Singing, the whole is greater than the sum of it's parts, so collectively, we create a synergy; a field of positive, harmonised energy, a 'collective effervescence'. This leads to a greater connection to oneself, to everyone we're singing with, and in turn, to a deeper connection with the world. The positive energy radiates out.

"Music is a great blessing. It has the power to elevate and liberate us. It sets people free to dream. It can unite us to sing with one voice."
~ Nelson Mandela
